With that being said, senior portraits are a highlight and marks the closing in of the graduation. Prior to scheduling a senior portrait session, I like to speak with the family and the senior to determine what the senior enjoys most in life at this point to highlight each individual senior's likes.

It's Snowing | Northern Virginia Family Photographer This week in Northern Virginia, we have been pummeled with inches of snow and the frustration of many being stuck on Interstate I-95 or in your home without power.
Snow is a great prop for winter family pictures. There are several different poses that can be done with family pictures in the snow. Continuing reading to learn some of the ideas. Family Quarantine BingoThe last few weeks have been interesting and I've been looking for ways to entertain my kids and when I find interesting ways I enjoy sharing them with you. Today, I'm sharing my family Quarantine Bingo card and by quarantine bucket dream list.  Download a copy of the bingo card. This game is great to place with kids during this time of quarantine. At the end of the week, the winner can watch their favorite movie or something else.
What to do with kids during Coronavirus?
The kids around California and Northern Virginia are out of school; now what? If you’re like myself and most parents, you’re looking for activities for your children to get engaged in that can be done safely inside the home. Especially since the state of California is now in full self quarantine mode.
Here are a few recommendations: 1. Play a board game. Whether is a traditional board game or a game on an electronic device, it can be a mind shifter. Do you have a favorite game? I love playing Scrabble on my phone. It keeps the score and we just pass the cell phone around to each other.

This beach is the perfect location for a family portrait session or a wonderful place to watch the sunset. As a family photographer, I was pleased with the different aspects of this location.  |
