7-Year Old Milestone PortraitsWhat's not to like about birthdays...they are so much fun. Cake, balloons, presents; need I say more. In addition to all these great birthday traditions, a milestone photo session is another great way to remember yourself or your child's birthday. To celebrate Gray's 7th birthday, we had a portrait session in Old Town Alexandria.
Truffle and Leroy Brown Family AlbumI've been holding onto this blog post for a while and couldn't wait to share with you. I absolutely love this custom designed heirloom album designed for a Northern Virginia family. The colors are wonderful and compliment each other so perfectly. It's pure album love.
Brrrr...It's Cold OutsideIt's winter outside...as a matter of act it's extremely cold and snowing. However, when family members travel back to Northern Virginia for holidays such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, many families still want to have an extended family photo. Just not in the cold.
You're first questions may be where can we go to get a great family picture during this time of year? Do we have to go outside in the cold to get a family picture? Do we have to travel to a studio or will the photographer come to us? These are all great questions. Northern Virginia Photographer - January Goals 2019The first of the year is a time when many people (myself included) reflect on their lives and establish goals for themselves and for their families; in addition, business owners work on their goals for their respective companies. This past week, I’ve been thinking about what goals I want to establish for my photography business.
New Goals for the New YearHappy New Year! It seems like these words come around faster and faster each year. With each new year it seems like many people reflect on their yearly goals and resolutions. I know some of the most popular goals and resolutions are losing weight, going to the gym, eating better, taking a family picture, a family vacation, and having better relationships. I can’t argue with any of these and some are on my list to improve as well.
Another thing I look forward to each year is the NCAA Football Championship game. I’ll be cheering for Alabama. Yes, Alabama…if you didn’t know the college is located in my hometown. So, I'll be cheering for the hometown team. I'll also be making my family's favorite cookies. Northern Virginia Couple celebrates 50th Wedding AnniversaryHappy New Year,
It’s amazing to look back upon 2018 and reflect upon the different families I had the honor to photograph last year in Northern Virginia. As a family photographer, it’s always an honor when families contact me to photograph their legacy. This past year, I received a telephone call from Claudia wanting to have 50th wedding pictures taken. Photographing this couple is a highlight for me. |
