It was a beautiful day in Washington D.C. at The National Archives museum for an Air Force promotion ceremony. Captain Kravitz's friends and family began gathering outside the museum before entry.
I delivered this gorgeous 8x8 birthday album last week and it was received with such excitement and love. Grady celebrated his 7th birthday with a personalized portrait session in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. His Mom selected this portrait of him with his I'm 7 years old t-shirt as the cover for his custom designed album cover. The matted cover was a perfect compliment to his photos.
Many potential photography clients wonder why should I have a consultation with my family photographer? This is an excellent question.
If you’re not having a consultation with your photographer before your family or newborn portraits, you should and here’s why. Your photographer wants to ensure you’re receiving portraits of your family you’ll love and adore. The consultation is a fact-finding time for your photographer to learn about you, your family, and your wishes for the requested portrait session. It’s also a great time to get to know your photographer and to determine if you’ll be a great match. If you have kids, the photographer you like and want to hire may not be a fan of children or may only photograph children after a certain age.
This fact-finding meeting will also help your overall experience with your family photographer and your expectations towards the result. It’s also a wonderful time to get answers to your burning questions.
Hello, I'm Tamieka, owner of Tamieka Smith Photography. I am currently located in Northern Virginia and I would love to help you plan your family's portraits or photograph your military ceremony — possibly both. Working with families and military members is my specialty. I hope you'll look at my recent work and all that’s available for you. I hope we're able to work together and I’m able to document your family’s history.
