It is a great honor to be recognized for my hard work and dedication as a small business owner. Let's explore how this award came about and why it is meaningful to me. Small business owners often face challenges and obstacles in their journey to success and growth. Still, the reward for their arduous work and determination is the recognition and validation that their efforts are paying off. This recognition is precisely what happened to me when the Torrance Chamber of Commerce announced me as the Small Business Entrepreneur Award winner. This portrait was taken right in the comfort of their home. Looking at their laughs and smiles just brings you in and is captivating. A few months ago, they reached out wanting to have portraits taken in their home to celebrate their wedding anniversary.  We began with professional makeup being applied by Erin from Phiz Makeup & Skincare; she does an amazing job! Then we started the portrait session right in the comfort of their home. We wanted to use the bookcase as the backdrop.
