It's Time You Take Care of You
I know that as women it is easy to get caught up in taking care of everyone else, but that means we neglect ourselves. So, I sat and thought about what I needed to do to help me take care of myself.
This past week, I decided to play a little dress up. I put on this brown dress with feathers and started taking photos. Of course, I felt like a princess. The dress is part of my client’s closet, which means it’s accessible to all clients for your next portrait session. As you can see, it fits like a glove and you’ll feel like a very important person.
Journey to Capturing Family Pictures
It's hard to believe that it's almost time to bid farewell to Los Angeles. Moving to the city back in May 2019, I was filled with excitement and a sense of endless possibilities as I relocated my family photography business to a vibrant new area. The allure of attending daily talk shows like The Talk and The Kelly Clark Show and experiencing the bustling energy of the city had me beaming with anticipation and excitement. Little did I know that within a few months, our lives would be completely transformed by the omnipresence of Covid-19. The worldwide lock-down took away the carefree aspects of life we had once enjoyed.
Now, as I prepare to embark on a new chapter of my photography journey, I find myself brimming with anticipation for what the future holds, even if the location is yet to be determined.
Capturing Precious Portraits of Love and Connection
If there's one thing I've learned as a portrait photographer, it's that family photos aren't just pictures - they are memories captured in time that families can look back on for generations. It's for this reason that I am honored to be called on to create family pictures that capture these moments for families to cherish forever. I was grateful to receive a call from Sayoko last year, who wanted to mark the memory of moving to a new home in Woodbridge, VA, with family portraits. And this year, when she reached out once again, she stood by her belief that family bonds are crucial, with the added task of recreating an old portrait with her three sisters. It's heartwarming to know that through my photography, I can capture and distil the joy, warmth, and love of a family in timeless, beautiful portraits.
