I was honored when Joanna reached out asking if I would capture portraits of her and her beautiful daughter. We meet at Burke Lake Park because the park was in full bloom with Cherry Blossoms (and the cold meet us as well). The trees were extremely gorgeous with all of the green leaves and white Cherry Blossom petals. As mentioned previously, it was extremely cold; however, looking at their lovely faces no one would be able to tell. To schedule your own portrait session, visit here. Purple, white, pink, yellow, and green! There are signs of the arrival of spring everywhere. After experiencing over 20 inches of snow just a few weeks ago, going outside now is an extremely beautiful sight. The air is enormously fragrant with trees and flowering blooming. Towards the end of last week, the Cherry Blossoms reached peak bloom. It was the perfect weekend to go out and capture portraits. While the masses tend to make there way to the Tidal Basin in the Nation's Capital, my family decided to travel to Loudoun County. WOW...the beauty! The roadsides are lined with wild flowers and the trees blooming with exquisite trees with green and white pedals. Since the weather is much milder and the grass and trees are greener, I had to get outside and capture my growing sons in the beautiful warm weather. Of course, they were happy to get outside and run freely. We spent the day capturing our family fun, enjoying one another's company, and most importantly, making memories.
