Why It's Important To Have A Picture of Grandmother
When you took your last family picture did you include Grandma? Our Grandmothers are such beautiful people full of wisdom and we love hanging around them; cause let's face it, they let us do almost anything we want. Let's not talk about eating ice cream and cake for breakfast...your Grandmother will probably let you do that too?!! Spending time with our Grandparents are priceless.
Unfortunately, many overlook the significance of taking pictures with Grandma or having a portrait of Grandma and Grandpa. Do you have a portrait of your grandmother in your home? I wish I could say yes.
My Grandmother didn't like taking pictures. Now, I don't have a picture of her (or it's a picture of her with her hands in front of her face). That's why I was so thrilled and extremely grateful when this Woodbridge, VA family (picture above) contacted me to photograph their family pictures and their 90-year-old Grandmother would be included.
To make the photo session comfortable, we meet in their home. I set up the backdrop and brought lights for a studio setting. This is a convenience that is offered to all families.
Importance of Grandmother Pictures
Pictures are a great way to showcase someone's personality. It doesn't matter if they're outgoing and rambunctious or quiet and reserve; the camera will pick it up. Don't allow these moments to slip away!
