Who's Ready For Spring?
Spring in Washington D.C. and the surrounding area provides the most beautiful backdrop for family pictures – why because of the amazing Cherry Blossoms. We are blessed to live in an area where there is such a wonderful array of colors. When the National Park Service (NPS) announces the full bloom dates, there are many visitors that pounce on the area. Fall in Northern Virginia is another great opportunity for family pictures, however, I love spring because of the colors, but also the pleasing smell.
I am currently booking Spring portrait sessions. Although we’re expecting snow on Wednesday in the area, spring is right around the corner and now is the perfect time to start planning.
If you’re struggling with what to wear for your spring portraits, spring is a great time to bring out yellows, teals, purples. There will be flowers and blossoms of all different sorts of colors, therefore you’ll be able to wear whatever you choose.
The amazing colors also make for a gorgeous maternity portrait. Spring is usually the only time you’ll see white and pink blossoms.
To learn more about portrait dates, what to wear, and where the Spring Cherry Blossoms will take place, please add your name to the newsletter below.
When time gets closer to the Cherry blossoms getting to full peak, the NPS will activate the Cherry Blossom Cam. This is the link to watch. https://www.earthcam.com/usa/dc/cherryblossoms/?cam=cherryblossoms
