Family Welcome Packet and Magazine

This year, I have been building, changing, and shifting my overall client experience.  As the year draws to a close, I've been looking for ways to improve the overall experience for my family portrait clients have from the time their family pictures are booked until the date of their portrait session.

So I began searching for welcome guides / welcome packets and how to package them. I saw several different templates, but I feel in love with the design from Design Aglow.  I'm so excited to be sending these new welcome packets to my clients booking family pictures in 2021 and beyond.

Receiving these Welcome Guides are special and they include:

• the process of having a custom photography experience
• what's included with your portrait session
• what you can expect for your family pictures (before your portrait session, after the session, and more)
• examples of how you can display your portraits in your home
• referral cards
• what to wear for your portrait session and more

Your client welcome packet is a great extension of your brand.  It's one of the first opportunities your client will be able to get a feel for how you operate, communicate, and flow with your clients.

If you're designing your own welcome packet, here are a few things to consider adding to your packet:

• A personal note of thanks - a short note to show appreciation for scheduling a portrait session with your studio.
• Testimonials - love notes from previous clients
• About you or bio - you can take these words directly from your website
• Frequently Asked Questions - discuss and answer questions most if not all of your clients ask.  This will reduce the amount of time spent on telephone calls and emails.
• Pricing - of course the number one question is how much is it for pictures.  You'll want to detail everything such as package prices, session price, and everything in regards to working with you.
• Business Card - includes your contact information such as telephone number, website, email
• What the session includes - let your clients know what their portrait session includes
• Referral Cards - small businesses thrive on referrals.  If your clients enjoyed their portrait experience, you'll want them to have referral cards to give to friends and family. 
• Wall Gallery Ideas - give your clients a way to visualize their family pictures other than posting on social media.
