Posing Tips for Family Pictures
With Covid-19 in full effect, many families or should I say Moms are hesitant to have family pictures taken. Why, you may ask? Many times as Moms, we're not comfortable with our weight and we surely don't want pictures taken of us (I totally understand; I'm right there with you).
We want to just have pictures taken of just our children (in reality it's another way to hide from the camera). What if you could have a family portrait where you can "hide" or eliminate those areas of your body you're not comfortable with showing?
Getting the best picture depends on the photographer knowing your likes and dislikes and capitalizing on your likes. If you're not a fan of your middle, the pose above is a great way to hide and minimize that section. There are other poses that can be done. For example, have you gained a few pounds? I always tell Moms, use your children as props! They can be great at hiding those areas you don't want to showcase. Between you and me that's their job right now; "help Mom out". At least this is what I tell my kids...lol.
I whole heartedly want Moms to be apart of their family picture. So I spent time talking about it on Facebook and creating a posing guide to download.
If you want a family portrait, but you're nervous or don't feel comfortable with taking pictures; call me. Let's talk about how I can calm your nerves and discuss how we can pose you and your family where you'll be proud to showcase your family pictures. I also recommend checking out the blog "Tips to Look Thinner in Pictures".
