Beautiful blue skies in Washington D.C. with the National Archives Museum in the center...a wonderful sight. It's was the location for today's Air Force Officer promotion ceremony.
Captain LeMaire and his family arrived to greet their guests at The National Archives Museum prior to entering the museum for his promotion ceremony.
Once inside the Rotunda of the National Archives, Capt LeMaire, his family, and guests looked at the documents while waiting for the start of the promotion ceremony.
The ceremony began with the playing of the National Anthem.
After the playing of the National Anthem, Colonel Bohannon came forward to highlight the accomplishments of Capt LeMaire's military career and why the Air Force sought to promote him.
The promotion orders were published and Captain LeMaire's family was called forward to pin on his new rank to Major.
Following the pinning on of his new rank, Major LeMaire was administered the Oath of Office by Colonel Bohannon in front of the United States Constitution.
After the completion of the Oath of Office, Major LeMaire thanked everyone who was in attendance of his promotion ceremony.
Congratulations to Major LeMaire and his family on his promotion. Thank you for trusting Tamieka Smith Photography to capture your promotion ceremony memories. I wish you continued success in your military career.
