Let Me Introduce Myself

Happy Friday!  Welcome to #IntroductionFriday.  I currently live in the Woodbridge, Virginia (a suburb of Washington D.C.; in Northern Virginia), but I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL. Yes, the home of the Alabama Crimson Tide.  I am married, since December, 1994.  I have four sons (two are angels).  Traveling and new adventures are definitely two of my most favorite things to do.  This is the main reason I joined the United States Air Force after graduating from high school.  I wanted to see as much of the world as possible.  Photography is my full time job, and I couldn't be happier.  I enjoy meeting new people and helping them document their legacy for future generations; also the smiles.  As I love to laugh and smile. 

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Many of you are new visitors and probably don’t know who the girl behind the camera is, so here I am to say hello! I’m so glad you’re here!  Those of you who don’t know me, here are 10 fun facts about your Northern Virginia Family Photographer:

1. I’m originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but living a military life takes me all over the world.  I’m currently a Virginia gal! I truly love it here and I know I’m going to miss it when it’s time to leave. 
2. I served 10+ years in the Air Force.  So, I understand military lingo.
3. Before joining the military, I worked at two jobs. (Walmart and Burger King)
4. I graduated college with a B.S. in Hospitality, Event and Tourism Management.
5. I’ve been married for 24 years.
6. I’m totally #TeamCanon 📷.
   
7. I went to Culinary School.
8. I love watching sports; especially Alabama Football. 
9. Traveling is my fave!  I’ve visited 37 states and 5 countries✈️.  I visited Paris, France this summer.
   
10. The kitchen is my favorite room in the house (if only I could put my bed in there); I love to cook.
