Friday Fives #10 | Television Shows I'm Watching

​Happy Friday everyone!  Did this week go as fast for you as it did for me?  It seems like it was just Monday; at the beginning of the week, I was in the middle of preparing for the arrival of hurricane Florence.  Now I’m planning and looking for things to do in the Northern Virginia area with my family.  I’m on the countdown to the new fall season of television shows.  This is a list of the top 5 shows I’m looking forward to returning this season.

​1.  The Last Ship
I fell in love with the show when I first began to watch it a few years ago.  The show is about a Navy ship “The Nathan James” being sent on a mission to save the world.  The show returned two weeks ago for its series final season.  Did you know McDreamy from Grey’s Anatomy is on the show.
​

​2.  This is US
There is so much I can say about this show, but I’m going to let this clip say it all.  This is Us is one of my favorite television shows to watch.
​

​3.  The Good Doctor
When this show started last year, I was fascinated and happy to see a show where one of the main characters is Autistic and a successful doctor.  It is exciting to see this show.  This is a show we watch as a family.  I want my children to see no “limitation” can stop them from doing something they want.  They really enjoy watching him excel beyond leaps and bounds.

4.  Lethal Weapon
I began watching this show from the beginning.  I was a little disappointed to hear they were taking “Riggs” off and replacing him.  So now I’m looking forward to watching the series with the new addition.  
​

5.  One Chicago (Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD)
Wednesday nights will be tuned to NBC for the Chicago series.  I’m so glad they have combined all three shows to one night…genius.

New shows that look interesting.
 
- A Million Little Pieces
I saw the clip for this show and was intrigued.  I plan to watch at least one show and then determine from there if I will continue to watch more.
​

- Magnum P.I.
Yes, I watched the original television series when I was a kid.  So, I’m looking forward to this new version of the series.  I love the red sports car Thomas drives. 
​

​- The Rookie
I’ve only seen the trailer for the show twice, put I like what I saw, so I think I’m going to at least watch one show and determine if I will continue to watch the series.  Of course, it’s nice seeing scenes of Los Angeles.  Did you know I lived in Los Angeles for four years?
​

What are your favorite television shows to watch during the fall?  Would you recommend a show for me or my family to watch?  We only have a few more weeks to go before we'll be loaded with new shows and new episodes...I can't wait.
