It's hot outside and this quick and simple sherbet recipe will be a quick way to cool off and bring smiles to you and your little ones.  This simple and healthy sherbet will quickly become one of your summertime family favorites.  It is made using frozen fruit and a blender.  Yes, it's just that simple.

The great thing about this frozen fruit sherbet recipe is, the fruit can be switched out to whatever you like most; strawberries, blueberries, peaches, you name it.  I'm a huge fan of strawberry or peach sherbet. 

I make this sherbet often during summer months.  When it's hot, I don't want to wrestle with an ice cream machine and double check to ensure I have heavy cream and other requirements needed to make homemade ice cream.  This sherbet is a great healthy fruit based dessert.  When I say this sherbet is simple to make, belief it.  Only four ingredients are required...yes four.  In addition, it will be ready to eat in less than 10 minutes.  There's no need to bring out a recipe book or print a long complicated food recipe from a recipe network. You'll quickly remember how to make this after one try.

My family's favorite flavor is strawberry. 

As previously mention, this Sherbet only needs four ingredients.  Once you have the ingredients, you simply add them together and blend.

Ingredients:

• Frozen Strawberries (or other fruit)
• Sugar
• Water
• Lemon Zest

• Dairy free and vegan
• Healthy (it includes fruit...it must be healthy)
  
• Did I mention it's easy to make

As I'm typing this, I want to go to the store and purchase some more fruit to make this amazing sherbet.  I'll need a big spoon to ensure I get as much down as possible without getting a brain freeze.
