Are you a parent with kids? Do you want a recent portrait of your family? Do you have a CD of your last portrait session, but never had the time to get them printed. If so, you probably want lots of pictures of your children, because they're only children for such a short period of time. But oh my gosh, will my children sit still for a professional photograph? Will they smile? Will they be fussy? Will they listen? Will the photographer be a good mesh with my family? These are just a few of the questions you may be asking yourself. As a Mom, these are some of the questions I ask myself as a mom when I go to have photographs taken of my children and my family. Even to the extent of attempting to coach my kids into doing right and treating them afterwards...please tell me I'm not the only one. Are you a Mom with sons? I look for a photographer that understands boys may not want to smile as much, a photographer that can be creative and make them enjoy the session and absolutely hate when it's time to leave. I want you to enjoy having family pictures taken; as much fun as possible, so they don't dread the experience and this also applies to husbands. Husbands usually understands the importance of a family portrait, but let's be honest, they are similar to our kids. They rarely want their picture taken either. They would rather skip the entire thing and stay at home and work on the car, watch a ball game (especially now that the NBA playoffs have started and the Washington Wizards are in the second round), or just do anything other than family pictures. When I was growing up my Dad never wanted his picture taken. He would give my Mom such a hard time! So when I became a family photographer, I took my questions as a parent and my experiences as a child and began to think about how I could make it easier for parents, like you, to have an enjoyable and memorable family portrait session. Being a Mom, I understand sometimes it can be tricky for kids to be comfortable with the camera, especially the photographer, but that's my job. Capture your beautiful children's smile. For example, this spring, one of my client's children was a little cold, so I gave him a jacket to warm up. As soon as he was warm, he turn on his smile. My clients also love the flexibility with portrait locations. Whether you want to have your family portraits in the back/front yard of your home or at your favorite local park, I'm willing and happy to accommodate your wishes. Every portrait session is about you and your family! Whether it's giving your child a jacket for warmth or your children playing with Apple boxes, I'm here to captivate your child and the beautiful stage of life for your family. Regardless of the age of your child; have a toddler or a teenager, I'm here to photograph a special memory for your family. Family portrait sessions last up to 120 minutes - more than enough time for an outfit change and leisured family time in the park. Do you have many CDs or USB from previous family photo sessions that you haven't had the time to print? If you do, I'm able to help you with that as well. Once you schedule your portrait session, I'll help you pick out the best date and location for your schedule. When your portrait session is complete, you'll receive an Ordering/Viewing date where your portraits will be reveal. Unlike previous sessions you may have experience, I will bring the retouched images to your home or the location of your choice and reveal them. It is the opportunity to select your absolute favorites and the images you just can't live without. To help easy your busy schedule, I can show you how your images will look framed or in canvas format. Once you select your favorite images, I'll send them to a professional lab for printing and them hand deliver the completed product to your home. If you have a stack of CDs or USB you would like help with converting into a beautiful wall portrait and installed in your home, don't hesitate to contact (571) 250-5073. I'm willing to help you get those beautiful memories of that disk. So when I became a family photographer, I took my questions as a parent and my experiences as a child and began to think about how I could make it easier for parents, like you, to have an enjoyable and memorable family portrait session. Are you ready for enjoyable family pictures?
