Happy Labor Day...my office is closed today to enjoy the beautiful countryside in Northern Virginia. However, i'll be back in the office tomorrow to answer emails and take calls.

Have you watched the Disney movie CoCo? Earlier this summer, my boys and I watched this movie and it was a true treat. We begin watching the movie without any expectations or knowing anything about the movie. I just kept hearing that it was a great movie to watch. So I finally broke down and watched the movie (especially since we've been having raining afternoon and evening in Northern Virginia).
Many overlook the significance of hiring a professional photographer to capture their family’s legacy. Yes, your life is a legacy for your family’s future generations. Like many areas of the country, there are several people in Northern Virginia that have a “good camera” and can take pictures.
Yes, I know and understand the belief that if a camera is good it must take great pictures, but this is a false belief. There are so many things that go into being a professional family photographer and ensure your best memories are captured for you to endure for years to come. Finding the perfect Northern Virginia family photographer to capture the magical moments of your family is very important. You can’t just go with an amateur photographer, you need a professional; unless you want to take the chance of your family pictures not being quite right.
But with so many photographers in the Washington D.C, Northern Virginia, and Maryland area, which one should you select? The struggle is real. You want someone whose work you fall in love with, someone who will bring out the wow factor in your family portraits, as well as assists you in creating albums or wall portraits to hand in your family’s home that you’ll love. There are several factors you must keep in mind when you choose the best photographer to capture your beautiful family moments. Here are 5 things you must remember when choosing a family photographer: Do you count yourself in the numbers of people, more specifically women, who hate to take pictures and shy away from the camera? If you’re not one, I’m sure you may know someone who does feel this way. It's heartbreaking to see beautiful and remarkable women overlooking and disregarding themselves and refusing to be photographed. As women, why do we evade the camera? Why do we neglect future generations from seeing pictures of us by refusing to celebrate our beauty today, so our grandchildren and their children may be able to reflect on us in a wall portrait?
